Before you plan for your first appointment with me, I have some information I can share with you!
At your first appointment we will make a treatment plan, sign consents, discuss your health history and complete your first treatment! Before and After photos are so helpful for tracking your progress, so I do like to take photos for you, or encourage you to take your own photos.
If you plan to have Botox or Xeomin, you will have to sit upright for 3-4 hours post treatment, which is important to take into consideration in the evening hours. Medicines that cause bruising and bleeding do not have to be avoided, but are best to avoid if possible to avoid small bruises from the injections.
If you plan to have PRP, PRF, PRFM, or micro needling, please come to your appointment well hydrated! Its best if you can drink 1-2 quarts of water during the day of you appointment. Please avoid any medicines or herbs that will impair clotting, or increase bruising such as Advil, Ibuprofen, Aleeve, Naproxen, Celebrex, and Aspirin. Herbs that start with the letter “G” should be avoided such as Garlic. Lastly, medicines such as Coumadin, Warfarin, Lovenox are best to be avoided but not without consulting your doctor first!
